Can't turn off Motor

I am embarresed to even as such a question but I can't figure it out. I own a '89 2300 Renken seamaster, with a OMC one sea drive outboard 235 hp. After the Huricane last week I went to start the boat and it started fine, but will not shut off once running. I have replaced the iginition switch, and that did not change anything. I have traced all the wires but nothing seem abnormal. All the wires go into an "electonics box" on the motor, and the wires I can test all turn on and off like normal. It seems as though there is something I am missing somthing stupid. Please help I don't know what to do.<br /><br />Thanks<br />Tom
