Can't remove my 290 dp-a outdrive

Trying to remove volvo penta 290 dp-a outdrive , but it seems to be rusted on the shaft at the back of the u/j ....the u/j is very dry with no grease, but works well , no grease in the bellows , tried wood wedges but trying not to break anything .
Has this happened to anybody else or just me...........Help please, getting worried now.

No expert here just going to respond to get your post back to the top since no one has responded. I'll start looking but hopefully the experts will come in.

Thanks for the welcome Alldodge......keeping my fingers crossed here , run out of ideas , tried small amount of heat but how much heat ? plus wood wedges , but it seems to be stuck solid.........anyway thanks again, hope my luck will change.
