I have a Mercrusier #1 drive off a 233.<br />The shop said he couldn't get the drive apart, but I don't really know if he even tried. <br />(I can't tell that the bolts were even moved. The drive is fairly dirty on the outside, and if the bolts were moved, you should be able to see if they were)<br /><br />Anyways, I'm debating to try this myself and learn from the experience, or just bug out and sell it for parts. I would really like to learn how to rebuild these critters. I have nothing to lose here since the drive is useless to me at this stage.<br /><br />I loosened the bolts, and tried a rubber mallet and some screwdriver prying (no not on the mating surfaces!<br /><br />It's not budging.<br /><br />Any ideas?<br /><br />H.
