Cant get it up:{

I have a 1965 Alacraft,15 foot, fiberglass walk through windshield boat with a 1988 mercury,60Hp motor.Im not real sure what the pitch is on the prop, however, im not sure if that is even my problem.I give the boat the gas and its like it wont plane.Ive tried all positions on my tilt trim and nothing seems to change.I ride looking at the sky.Anyone got any ideas from prop to a whale fin.

Hi Ozmac<br />Ether your not getting full throtle or your not not getting spark or fuel to all cylenders. In other words its not firing on all four.

Hi Ozmac<br />If I may suggest, find out the WOT RPM for your engine. Knowing this, you will have an idea of what you are getting verses what you should be getting. Like the previous poster said, it maybe gas related (carbs, fuel tank restriction) or something else. <br />At least knowing what you should have WOT RPM and what you are getting will lead you in the right direction.
