can't get it to start.

6hp johnson outboard!? got spark, and gas. just will not fire up, seems like it is flooding out. help please. thanks.

How is the compression?<br />Is the spark a good snappy blue?<br />What makes you think it is flooding?<br /> Are the plugs wet?<br /> Does the primer bulb get hard when you squeeze it?<br /> Does gas drip out of the carb?<br /> Has it ever started for you?<br /> When was it last run?
