I have a 2001 40hp MERCURY 4 stroke, The bottom Carburetor plunger rod is not positioned properly, the plastic piece directly above the rod is broken therefore not holding the plunger rod in postion. I need to find that plastic piece, I have used boats.net to get the carb schematic however it does not show the piece I am looking for.
Where can I find this part or does anyone have a used carb kicking around that I can get this part from?
