I would like for you to share them with me for i have never did this, but i do plan on trying to this fall. I have talked to a few and they are not real sure of how to do this> Thanks hunters in advance.

Re: CANNING DEER MEAT

I prefer the raw pack method. You can get the directions by going to ask geeves and typing in "canning meat"

Re: CANNING DEER MEAT

i'm asuming you are refering to the age old canadian tradition of hanging empty beer cans from a deer's antlers? here's how we do it up here in the great white north. first we buy a flat of beer. drink atleast 12 of em just to get up the nerve to try this. then we empty out the rest by shakin them and punching holes in the bottoms with our buck knives. this usually leads to beer fuzz wars of course. once you are good and drunk and wet and stinkin like a brewery, it's time to stalk the deer. this can be challenging as keeping quiet while hammered is the biggest challenge of all. did you know that deer can smell human urine from all miles away? anyways the trick is to sneek up on the furry beast and surprize him. jump onto his back and stick the cans one at a time onto each spike. the guy with the most cans on the deer wins. i recommend trying this during the rutting season as they seem to be most docile then. have fun folks and remeber not to drink and drive. but you are welcome to walk me home anytime.
