Re: canadian boat insurance
...not too sure of what your situation is on this. Where do you live?...big city?...country?...high crime area?...is your boat new? old? valuable? fixer-upper? or?
However you want (at least) enough insurance to cover the cost of replacing your boat. Pretty simple on that end.
To ensure you get it...know what the market value of your boat is by doing some checking on line by find some equivalents out there for sale.
I would then take a bunch of 'flattering' pictures to ensure you have a good record of the boat should something happen to it.
You may be just as likely to have it stolen as wrecked so ensure you are covered for theft.
Insurance is a pretty inexpensive piece of mind. I think you'll find some pretty reasonable rates out there.
Good Luck.
