I had to stay away from this thread when I logged onto Iboats!! I wasn't up last night this morning to catch the game live so I waited for the local 9:00am re-broadcast of it to avoid the spoiler alert.
It was a pretty good game all around....particularly pretty clean which is good to see. I found myself thinking that the game appeared closer at times than the final score showed...regardless, good result...but we are only getting started. I think the U.S plays the Germans tomorrow so the results may be very similar?
It was really a bummer to see how that finnish player broke his ankle falling backwards from the check in their game....frikkin' ouch!!
No big surprises today in the results tho',
Sweden won, Finland won....all top teams.
So....away we go!!
