yup, water not deep enough to reach the intake.<br /><br />another potential SHT...to bid on it assuming that it runs, just because it churns water when you pull the rope!
Funny what these people show on ebay. Besides stuff like this, I cant count the times they include a video of the owner starting the motor without water.......idiots.<br /><br /><br />JB- I think those stands are pretty normal for those smaller motors. I have seen quite a few of them around.........I wouldn't necessarily use on though
I made a similar mistake with my merc 9.8. I put it in a 13 gallon plastic kitchen garbage can to test it, Water was plenty hi enough, but i had one to many beers and bumped it in gear, prop busted holes in both sides of my (Test tank), luckily i have put duct tape on both inside and outside of the garbage can, and it seems to hold water fine
