no idea what you are sticking this key into, but normally you would look at the switch to see what key # is

Check behind that little black rubber gromet/hex nut on your ignition swith for the key #'s....

If you cannot find a key number, then take your boat to a dealer as many have rings of keys to try out and can get the number that way.

Also, if there is no key number, than it is most likely an aftermarket ignition switch as all outboard manufacturers have numbered keys. If it is an aftermarket switch, you may be able to have a hardware store/locksmith make a duplicate.
