can u tell from the vin what your trailer is?

I have a 97 loadrite single axle with hydrulic surge brakes trying to find out what length boat and weight is it's weight capacity? Went to loadrite site and all there single axle trailers are way under what this one is registered at.The dealer said it was 3800 lbs carrying weight

Many boat trailers are ordered directly form trailer manufacturers with certain specs and that is why you don't see your trailer on the website.

My trailer was done that way. I called the trailer manufacturer for my trailer with the vin number and they were able to even tell me what color it was painted let alone axle ratings, size etc.
