Can`t find test on Tohatsu md115tldi

I`ve just bought a lovely md115, i have spend month on the internet to find a test regarding this engine. Im about to make a test for a big fishing club, and id would be great if i had something to leen on.

But i can already tell it`s look like the md115 can beat a yammy efi115 wenn it comes to fuel economic at crusing speed and better topspeed.

So if there is anyone in this great forum who knows where to find a test regarding this engine please send a link or email.

There is no test data between a MD115 and any other engine as no magazine has tested one yet.

Okay Thank`s Elvin

A little question.

I saw you had a ss prop pitch 20.Will this work wenn the engine is running 5850 with a Alu 17 pitch fully loaded with 6 pers. Or should i go for a ss 18 pitch.

A 20 would be pretty high. I wouldn't do it. Even the 18 would be a little high. Keep in mind you are going to be dropping that WOT RPM down to the 5600 range.

Yep

But That`s my point, isn`t it better wenn the engine is running ex 5600 or 5500 instead of 5850 ?.

Better crusing at lower rpm, or?

With the alu 17 it makes a good ( i think you call it) hole shut, an it exceeds top rpm even wenn it`s fully loaded. Im only interesting in a good crusing speed at approx. 3500
