Can soime post a pic of where the water is suppose to exit on a 78 merc 150 In6.

hey guys, Just got my motor running, and before i let it run for more than a few seconds i was curious where exactly the water is suppose to exit, and how much water is suppose to exit. thanks!

Water will exit the grates above the antiventilation plate(above and behnd the prop), thru the prop, and maybe thru the square exhaust relief holes at the base of the powerhead.

It also should exit the telltale, however, these clog easy.

BTW - The last year for an inline six Merc 150HP motor was 1977. They have no thermostat, so water will exit almost immediately.
