I have a seadoo with a 580.7 cc rotax engine and jet drive. Was wondering if this package could be installed into a 14 ft aluminum boat.If anyone has tried a conversion of this type I'd love to hear from you.

I'm sure it can be done, but the static water line of an aluminum boat will be too high without major modification. Just putting a jet ski drive into a boat you will get no water through it or tons of cavitation.

it is done all the time// do a search on the internet and see how they do it. I read several threads on this for running shallow rivers.

Yes it can. I did one this past winter and have two more to do this winter. The "static water line" is only a problem when you take off for the first time on any given day. All it takes is a few jabs of the throttle to fill up the pump cavity then after that it's good to go. It is not as easy as it sounds or looks to be, but if you have time and the shop space along with tools and if you have any mechanical ability you can do it. I would be glad to give you a few pointers if you are interested.
