Can I use this a a lift point?

I have a 2001 yamaha 150 with 25in shaft. I am going to remove the motor and was wondering if i can use the hook on the top of the motor as a lift point. I am going to use a engine hoist to do the lifting. Any input is appreciated!

On my 92 Yami 150 2 stroke, there was a "lifting" bracket that I used to mount the motor on my boat. On y 2004 F150 there's two brackets for lifting. If the (those) bracket is what you're referring to, then yes you can attach a hook, shackle, strap or chain on the bracket to lift. I'd suggest you have someone give you a helping hand. Best of luck.
