The 115 will fit. The 115 has larger carbs and the intake filler blocks. Not sure if it has the higher port timing or not. The 140 is where the major differences are: carbs, heads and exhaust cover/tuner, port timing.

according to the seloc manual they are all 99.6 cid. all are type 3 carbs all are the same timing. i quess what im asking is if i was to get a larger hp rebuilt powerhead would it fit ?maybe i could get a complete 140 with a pooched lower unit or something and do the old switcheroo.?? maybe im just dreaming lol.

All the late model V4 crossflows will fit. Your 90 has smaller ports and lower port timing. Until you change that there isn't a lot you can do to change hp. However, all late model V4 crossflows have the same bore & stroke, ignition, gear ratio etc. No matter what you do you aren't going to change the torque a heck of a lot.

Work on maxing out your set up. Once you get to the point you cant get any more fuel/air mix in or out then look at porting.

Either of those design put out a lot more torque, that's for sure! If you were going to take your motor apart anyway, it'd be easy enough to open up the ports and add the bubbled exhaust. If the motor runs good like it is we might concentrate on set up to make it as efficient as possible. You might be surprised.

what was thinking was that the boat is rated for 135hp and i have 90 so if i went to say 140 the boat would be that much quicker etc.and if the 140 powerhead would fit on the 90 motor id be that much ahead from say buying a 140 that may or may not be ok.
