Can I get the run hours on my 1998 4.3GL?

Is there anynway to hook my engine up to a diagnostic tool to pull engine hours? It doesn't have an hour meter on the dash. It is a 1998 Caravell with a 4.3. I have lots of maintenance documentation but it all seems to be annual/biannual instead of based on hours. I have a receipts for a new engine in 2004, but would like to know how many hours are on the current engine. Thanks!

if its done over a year, basicaly u can "asume" its below or close to 100hs of run time every year.

if u have maintence records id prefere to have unknown hours, running good of course, than XX hs unattended and not maintained at all over the years.
