I have a MYCO galvanized trailer that is rusting really bad. It has a 25' wellcraft sportsman 250 sitting on it(big heavy boat). I just got done fixing the boat and have never launched it. The trailer is clearly not made for this boat, and i am concerned about getting the boat back on to the trailer once it has launched. The bunks are rusted really bad, afraid they might break off. Any suggestions.

I also have way too much tongue weight. Are there any problems with moving the boat back a little on the trailer? Any suggestions.

If anyone knows someone who can fix it in the Tampa area or if they know someone who is selling a trailer, please let me know.

Thanks, I'm new to this stuff and could use alot of help.

Ahoy, Ben.

If there is anything I have learned about rust it is that there is always a lot more than you can see, and it always has done more damage that you think.

I know you don't want to hear this, but you need a new trailer. :(
