Hello maybe somebody can tell me what parts exactly i need to change, if i want convert yamaha outboard motor model 2010 4hp to 6hp?thanks

you need a trip to the boat shop and negotiate a trade.

I have a 2011 4hp and would also like to convert it.I have gone over the carb parts list on Yamaha's website and the only difference I can see between the 4 and 6hp is the main jet and the idle screw. Could it be that simple?.

i have heard that carbaration is the differance. i was told that a dt 75 and 85 are the same just bigger carbs.

Check the exhaust components. I know on the larger engines they reduce some of the passages thus reducing the power.
