My boat ran great all week on vacation up until today when we were cruising at around 3k for 30 mins or so & I had some slight hesitation. Bumped up to 4k rpm & got to the end of the lake, filled up w/ more gas (1/2 tank - added 5 gals to bring up to 3/4 full) & didn't have any more problems that day at all. I'm thinking I either hit some water in the gas or there's still me Han ally wrong. Got me thinking about the flappers which I've never looked at. Can flappers stick from time to time and cause the odd hesitation occasionally? I'm thinking of taking the manifold & riser off soon & inspecting anyhow, so it'd be a good time to check/fix flappers too if I should.
