Can anyone please help?

Hi everyone,

Due to poor health, I never even had my "big" boat in the water last year. It's a 21' Chris Craft center console with a 95
horse Johnson. I called out a serviceman for a tune-up, since it had been sitting so long. When he was done, he hooked up a
pair of earmuffs, and demonstrated that both the trim/tilt worked, and it started fine.

However, prior to launching it, I tried, but both batteries appeared to be dead. I wire brushed all the battery connectors,
sprayed them with "P.B." put my selector switch on "both," and set my charger to 12 volt, 2 amps. It sparked when I
originally connected it. I let it sit overnight, and then tried it the next day, but instead of hearing at least a "click-click-click,"
all I heard was silence.

I called my repairman, let him know how displeased I was, and he quickly came and towed my boat to his shop, where he
said he had much more equipment available. That was two weeks ago.

So my question is, just what could be the source of this "electronic" gremlin?

Any assistace or advice you may offer would be greatly appreciated...

What's the model number of that engine?

Problem as you've explained it = Bad batteries or something has a ever so slight short, or some component has been left on, resulting in a battery drain.
