they answered you correctly on the ob section use ears and a hose there is a water pickup on the lowewr unit just below the cavitation plate, there is not always a water stream attachment on small outboard engines look with the cover removed and see if there is a small hose conected to the cowling and a little nozzle for it to shoot out,, word of advice,, always replace the pump impeller on a used outboard engine you can even buy them from napa auto stores , if the fool doesn't know they sell outboard parts tell him to get the napa small engine book and look it up, they sell electronic parts gaskets and water pumps etc and they sell them for a bunch less than the dealers do. also remove each ground wire on the coils and brain box and clean them real good a bad ground will burn out the brain every time.they use a little round wire conector and just bolt them to the block with a star washer on a mounting bolt for each part.

Thanks Jeff!
Thats something I never thought of.
But my real dilema is the throttle hook up.
I was just wondering if anyone from this forum had a better idea to get the (handle bar) twist throttle attached.
Have a great summer!!

got me confused there is one on it plus handlebars to steer so remove the twist grip totally and install a throttle cable there should be a spot to use a cable for the throttle and a shift cable also if you want one, I bet if you found a kawasaki thumb throttle assembly with a cable you could modify it to do the job and mount it on the handlebars, may require a stainless return spring at the engine conection as it also moves the timer base when you give it gas
