I have a prop that says "Michigan J24" on it. I can't find any other numbers on it. It fits a 1980 Evinrude 25 and pushes the boat about 25-30 mph. I want a new prop, but nothing that Michigan Wheel has cross references with this number.

I can post a picture if it will help.

I believe that's an old MW number. I've tried there site and didn't come up with anything yet. I have the older MW book at the shop....which ain't doin' much good right now..... :( We keep lookin'.

EDIT: Just making sure....does your prop use a shear pin?

EDIT again: I found a PJ24 MW but it's for thru-hub exhaust. Could you post the model number of your engine?

OBJ, it's a splined shaft. Model number is E25TELCSA. It's not a thru hub exhaust.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm going to give you the link for the MW site....I can do this cause there is no buying or selling there...you can contact them via email and see if they can give you the info you need. I looked at material today at the shop and was unable to come up with a cross for your prop.

http://www.miwheel.com/index.htm

Also, here's the BRP site that you can look at and will give you a break down on the gear case. It also lists the different pitch props available for your engine. Click on engine diagrams and follow the prompts.

http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/

Let us know if there is anything else we can help out with.
