Can a bad volt reg. or cdi cause 50 hp force stator to go bad??

[Why Force it]

I changed the stator in my 1993 50 hp force. 2 blue wires tested no ohms at all and red wires tested 95 ohms and yellows were 1.4 ohms. I found a used stator and it tested reds at 97 ohms and blues were 1140 ohms. seems really high. I don't know if this even work. byw, yellows are 1.4 ohms. Is it possible that something is causing the stator to fry? I have really about had it with this motor. Still no spark. Please help if possible. Thanks
