My wife sent me these pics of a converted garbage truck. Looks pretty sweet and sure beats the heck out of the tent we have used for the past 9 years!

I don't know about that part. Has anyone ever driven or rode in a garbage packer? What suspension?:^

I have to say it would be tough though. Just about bullet proof. d:)

Why are there no windows on the pics of the outside? also the window in the loft at the front would be covered by the cab

I just spent about 10 minutes trying to figure that out myself. I think I finally hit it.

The top portion is like the VW Campers. It raises. When lowered, the front window is hidden behind the cab and it covers the windows on the sides.

What it really needs is a dumpster, hanging over the front, that could be a "guest house".

Very cool. Some fancy camera trickery makes the inside appear much larger than it actually is I think. Wide angle lens magic.
