Calco power trim pump replacement

Hi has anyone used an aftermarket dB electrical 10813a instead of the prestolite aq290 pump? My calco unit is dying and need a fix

Opinions will vary.-----------I would mount a Mercruiser / Mercury outboard pump and reservoir.----------The kind that mounts inside the boat and away from damaging water.
