Cadillac Boat

Can anyone tell me how old my boat is? It's a 14 ft. Cadillac with the numbers (965) stamped in the transom. Thats all the numbers that I can fine on this boat. I have photo's that I can't upload for some reason. If someone sends me an email address I will send photo's. Thanks Randy

Cadillac boats, which had nothing to do with the car, were made in Michigan from the late 50s into the 60s. More than that I do not know. Go to www.fiberglassics.com and click on the Library. You'll find out about all that's known and be able to look at some brochures. Maybe you'll see your model there.

I went there and that didn't help me, I still can't date my Boat. I want to sell it and it will be harder if I can't even tell them how old it is. Heck I can't even show it on this web site because I don't know how to lower the pitcher size to up lode it. Thanks for the help anyway Randy

It will sell for the same price whether you know what year it is or not. It's an old boat, and the brand name is only of minor interest. It will sell for whatever you get for it.

I'm looking through my family's photo album and found shots of me rowing a 12' Cadillac brand boat. The year is 1959; probably the year my dad bought it.

With something that old; condition is much more important than age when setting a value.

or photobucket.com works too. just resize the picture so that its no bigger than the "large" size (got yelled at about that)
