We are planning a fishing trip for February and are trying to decide between Cabo and Costa Rica. We are looking for consistent action not one trophy fish. Any specific recomendations on boats, captains, lodging etc. will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

COSTA RICA, with out a doubt. Pic a side, pacific is deep sea, if you want tarpon hit the other side.

Sailfish action is legendary in Costa Rica. Feb is an good time to be their go as early in the month as possible. Plenty of Sailfish to be Caught. Catch and Release all bill fish, most boats do anyway.

Cabo is way out fished and over touristed, if you can afford it go to Costa Rica.

Have fun

hello
or you can try venezuela. the rio chico area provides 100's of tarpon and snook strikes a day. keeping them on the hook is a different story. a package can be but together fairly cheap.the fish I caught were all from the 5-20 pound range.
