Cable adjustments Mercruiser 120

Hello everone, I just finished installing rebuilding my Mercontrol and with new cables. The cables are correctly mounted in their original locations and are the same exact lengths. I need to adjust the shift and throttle cables with the Mercontrol. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get these cables calibrated. I don't have a clue...the boat is a 78 Starcraft Islander with a pre alpha drive and a Mercruiser 120 motor.

Ayuh,.... Manual number 1 covers yer motor, 'n drive,....


I believe there's a path to that manual up in the Adults Only section at the top of this forum....
