Self edit... will make seperate post on other subject<br /><br />A Lot of folks can't understand how we came to have a<br /> oil shortage in our country!<br /><br />Well, there's a very simple answer..<br /><br />Nobody bothered to check the oil.<br /><br />We just didn't know we were getting low.<br /><br />The reason for that is purely geographical.<br /><br />Our oil is located in:<br />Alaska<br /><br />California<br /><br />Oklahoma &<br /><br />TEXAS<br /><br />Our dipsticks are located in Washington, D.C.

Very true!<br /><br />If all the dipsticks were the same length, then we would have an accurate determination of the oil level. Right now there are too many dipsticks of unequal length and then some fail to wipe the old oil off before rechecking the level. Then the dipsticks that can't be found due to hoses and canisters from the EPA are also ones that we have to worry about.
