Re: C-Hook Leaf Springs
Well, I don't know if this is relevent or not, but here goes. My trailer is tandem axle and uses C-hook springs. On both axles the C-hook is to the rear. On the forward axle the C-hook passes through the pin on the equilizer (some folks call this the rocker) and on the rear axle the C-Hook goes through a bolt (with a bushing) that passes though a bracket that is fixed to the trailer frame. Both axles have brakes but when I bought the trailer only the forward axle had brakes, if that makes any difference at all. As for the reason, it could be because robins have a red breast, it could be because the sky is blue. It could be for some other reason that is absolutly beyond my as well.

Thom
