Bye bye, Hippo?

I've been pleasantly surprised to notice that ridiculous and nonsensical hippo logo disappearing from the web pages and the commercial site. Is it gone for good? That was one change I never understood. (Not to mention it was hard to tell what the logo even was supposed to represent.)

If, in fact, Mr. Hippo has been sent packing, I offer a gold star to whomever successfully made the case to banish the hippo!

It was stinkin' up the joint. I like the new logo. It has the classic iBoats sail for blow boaters and a prop dots the i for the rest of us.

This thing looked like something out of a horror flick.

You and the vast majority agree, Mods included.....

Its a stretch IMO, but it was chosen because its a land AND aquatic animal. But, yeah, that didnt help make sense of the change for me, or the rest of the Mods.....

I wonder how southkogs is w creating GIFs? I wouldnt be opposed to watching a hippo demolition clip...... full splatter.... ala Monty Python meanong of life gluttony scene...

LOL ... that's a great idea.

I've not made any animated GIFs yet, but i've done a little animation. With corona virus on hand, maybe I'll have some time to try. Stay tuned
