look up total allied deaths in WWII,your favorite war, the bust down the percentage of killed an wounded according to countrty, you will find that we ,The US , lost about 9% of the total causualty rate.

What does the U.S. proportion of WWII casualties have to do the topic? Is the sacrifice only valid when the proportion reaches a certain level? What level? Nine percent seems like a lot considering the proportion of the war that happened on our soil.
