generally do boat dealers have more wiggle room on the prices of boats that they are selling on brokerage ?

If by brokerage you're meaning consignment I think the opposite is true. Dealer has to consult the owner. Owner is paying a pretty big premium to the dealer for the service.

On brokerage the wiggle room will come from the boats owner (the real seller) and the broker just passes your offer to them for their approval, denial, or counter. So the answer to your question is "maybe"; it depends on the seller. Probably, boats being brokered will be listed at higher then expected sale prices.

I just sold our Chaparral and bought our Regal thru the same broker. Our old Sun Runner was bought and sold thru them, and we bought the Party Cruiser thru them.

And as mentioned above, all pricing is dependent on the boat's owner...
