Hello im looking into picking up at boat this weekend. Its a 1989 Arriva 2450 7.4L Mercruiser with a Bravo outdrive. Im not too familiar with these boat i know its was made by bayliner but they dont make it anymore. All around looks like a great boat. Does anyone know much about them? What are the pros and cons? Any known failures with this boat or engine? Anything i should consider? And lastly what would you guys consider a "steal" price wise on this boat? Everyones input is appreciated. Thanks

Tom

I know that it is a little late now. You should have your boat and enjoying by now. I have had 2 Arrivas good luck with both of them. Both 1989 and enjoyrd them both. I think they are great boats. Not much on fuel but that isn't the reason you would buy a 24 foot boat with a 454 in it. The first one I had was fuel injected and had to run a 21 pitch prop on it. The second one was a carburated and it pushes a 23 pitch. :) Just jouned this and saw that you were buying one and wanted to wish ya luck. P.S. if you know where I can get any parts for the boat (Windshield parts in patucluar) please let me know.

Fred.
