buying a tohatsu

I'm in the market for a new outboard ,thinking about a 4 stroke 8 or 10 hp tohatsu .any feedback on these motors will be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Simple design, Durable, and very Reliable...and also fairly inexpensive. A very good choice.<br /><br />Nav

Hi Spoonriger,<br />Last year, a motorboat knocked my 4HP evinrude 2stroke into the bay. I replaced it with a Nissan(Tohatsu) 5HP 4 stroke. It vibrated so much that it is now in my garage. I replaced it with a used Johnson 4HP Deluxe 2 stroke which I love.
