Hello Tacklehead,<br /> I purchased a '96 Johnson 225 Ocean Runner from a private owner over E-bay.He is located in Georgia and I'm in New York.Over all a good experience although the owner opted not to include the controls/cables/wiring harness.Just make sure you know what your getting(and not getting).These can be an extra unforseen expense.Also,get a shipping quote on the motor and have the dealer/seller stick by it! I got a very good deal on my motor and I'am pleased with it.Hope you experience same.Good Luck.
