Busted cylinder head bolt - '63 Johnson JW-18R

Okay, it sucked, but I got it out. I had to use MAPP gas and Vise-Grips to extract it.

Is there a chance I damaged the integrity of the engine by using such intense heat on the cylinder walls?

probably not, out the head gasket on and check compression, also remember after running several hours to retorque the head.

No..(own one..been there ..done that..metal will retain its shape unless ya melt it..)
