bunk replacement

i replaced my bunks and when i pulled the old ones off forgot where they sat exactly..and now im gonna pull boat out .. what should i do.. bunks are on but not sure if in right position.. will this affect the boat.

I try to make sure the bunks are at the same angle as the bottom of the hull where the boards meet the boat. If they aren't then I think it can put more stress on the boards, wearing them out early or breaking the boards. <br /><br />I've had trouble with the hardware holding the boards in place too. Making sure the bolts are always tight, using the right washers and big enough hardware has been helpful.

Got any old pictures of the bost on the trailer? I would just put the boat on and see where its sits...can't be that far off, and I don't think it would hurt a thing.
