I am in the process of moving batteries from the stern to the cabin and I decided to remove all the carpet out of the cabin. While determining where and how to place the batteries I thought this would be a good time to try and add some plano storage compartments within the cabin since I removed an unused stove and sink which gave me placement of the batteries. My question is about the picture of the bulkhead behind the helm and portside. Should these bulkheads be glassed to the gunnels and hull? The are glassed at the top.

Sailboats frequently do, the chain plates that secure the standing rigging fasten to the bulkhead..if it's just a partition then no need..
