Buccaneer outboard

I just purchased a boat and received a Buccaneer outboard with it. I was wondering how easy these are to work on, how difficult is it to find parts? I don't know anything about it except model #5d10b serial # 467503. The engine is complete with all parts and runs. Smokes alot. I was wondering what kind of oil to mix with the gas. (I have been told to use a straight 30 weight). I have a feeling there is an issue with the float in the carb as sometimes it overflows. Any information would be helpful.

All two strokes smoke but if you use modern TC-w3 oils there will be far less smoke than regular 30 weight. Use SAE 30 only in an emergency.

I have one just like it .Great running motor.Get a manual for it. I don`t recall if I got my manual here or from Ken Cook`s site.Got my impeller from F_R,the Guru of Gales.
