Hi there, I have a 2006 Four Winns Horizon 180. The passenger seat flip-up bolster appears to be broken as it is loose between the front of the seat and back of the bolster. I can?t see how to take it appear to repair and now I?m beginning to think that the material (seam) has to be cut before you can get to the area where the bolster attaches to the inside of the seat.

Is this correct or is there a way to take off the flip-up bolster to fix it (if it can be fixed)

There probably are some brackets attaching the bolster to the seat. After you post 2 more times you can add photos so we can see what you are looking at.

Take the whole seat off of the post (using release lever and lifting straight up). There are four screws on the bottom that release the actual seat part of the cushion. Once that is removed, it's easy to remove the bolster. You may still need an upholsterer to repair what's inside the bolster, but it's now much easier to take just the bolster to them. I've had to repair both bolsters during about six years of use. Seems like the cost was $50 for one and $100 for the other (based on what had broken). Hope that helps!
