I have a broken trailer side flat connector. It is a Wesbar Flat 4 pole trailer connector. It has a 4 Pole Flat Trailer side connector and 5 wires to the connector. The wires are colored green, green/black, yellow, yellow/black, and white. I have found a parts supplier that has a Wishbone Trailer Connector, part # 7286, and they also have a Wunside Trailer connector, part # 7285. Will either of these work for me?

Anyone have an idea what I need or how I can tell what I need to replace my broken flat 4 pole trailer connector?

Generally, one terminal on the flat four connector has two wires in it that perform the same function, just on opposite sides of the trailer -- to be more specific, they probably feed the marker and tail lights. Any flat four connector with either four or five wires that mates properly with the other half will work. Just splice the single wire on the new connector into the two from the original.

Any 4 flat connector will work. White is ground (should be connected to a ring connector bolted/screwed to the trailer frame), your green/black and yellow/black will go to brown on a new one (running lights), and green goes to green and yellow to yellow (turn signals and brake lights).
