When getting my ex haust manifold off...I like a dumbarse managed to break my steel choke tube assembly..

Could I use rubber hose with tiny radiater clamps as a patch?

The line from the base of the carb/exhaust mani is ok..as is the line up near the choke..just need to replace the 3 or 4 inches inbetween these connectors...

If not..then what else other than salvage yard?

auto salvage, No. no such thing exists.

Boat Salvage.. yea..

You can also goto the Auto parts store and match up a peice of Steel Fuel line tubing, just re-use the brass Fitting that holds it onto the carb.

So buy one that matches length and Diameter, cut one end off, Slide your old Fitting on, Bend, install.

Sounds like the same setup I have on my 165HP L6. I broke mine too. Just went to hardware store, got a foot of aluminum tubing for 90 cents, flared end and reused fitting to carb like Kainon says, bent to fit...works fine.
