british seagull throttle

G'day i have a forty plus seagull that has a broken throtle handle. i found out how much an original was and it was 40 dollars, im wondering if sierra makes them or is there and old victa lawnmoer that has same throtle because i know victa the 60's glassy victa had a simmilar throttle<br />Thanks

You could always try the trigger throttle assembly from a quadbike, though they don't stay open when you let go.

try a simple racer style gear change lever from a road push bike.
