G'day my 40 plus seagull has sludge in the bottom of the tank. it continualy blocks the fuel filter and stalls the motor i have proviously tried to fush fuel through it but that only stops it for about two days. the tank is steel so im hopeing its not rust on the inside it lookes like litle black flakes and they are just big enough to pick up. does anyone have an effective way to clean out the tank once and for all?

thanks

yeah-stick a load of nuts and bolts in it and shake hard then flush it out with paraffin-that or get on Ebay UK where you'll find the older brass seagull 40+ tanks for sale that don't get so crappy.
