You'll be impressed at what a difference buffing makes. If you've never used a power buffer, be careful. Stay away from edges and anything loose. If you buff an edge, you'll rub the gelcoat off. You'll end up with bare fiberglass edges. <br /><br />I used to work in a boat yard and later, an auto body shop. It's amazing how quickly paint and gelcoat disappears under an electric buffer(especially when it's new paint

). It's equally amazing at how quickly a buffer will remove windshield wipers, antennae, trim, your shirt, etc.<br /><br />Have fun, be careful, and wax it when you're done!
