WEBBERS FALLS, Oklahoma - An empty oil barge has struck a bridge in the US state of Oklahoma......<br /><br />This was the news item on TV this AM. I hope folk on this site have not lost anybody from this incident.<br />It would have to be the worst time of the year, especially being a holiday, for anything of this nature to occur. Our reports claim the barge came loose and drifted so I guess there wouldn't have been anybody aboard.<br />A nasty incident and a disaster for those involved.<br />Ross

Ross,<br /><br />That truly was a tradjedy. The only saving grace was it happened in the early AM hours. I cannot imagine what it would have been like tomorrow at 5:00 PM. That doesn't help those that are hurting however.<br /><br />I've been across that bridge myself and would have been crossing it again this summer. It always makes you wonder. But, we can't go through life thinking that way.
