My Bravo3 seams to be clunking sometimes when I put it in to gear. I don't know if this is normal or not. Here are some situations this weekend when it happened.
Was backing up, went in to neterual and then put it in forward, when the morot hit about 1200RPM the drive engaged and there was a loud clunk from it going in to gear
Was in forward pulled back to netural then went back to forward and again the morot reved up and it slammed in to gear.
I tried putting it in to forward and waiting a bit before I gave it some gas, It seamed like it made a bit of a difference but I still was getting the drive slamming in to gear when I gave it some gas.
My questions:
Is this normal for a B3?
If not normal what should I look at? I really don't want to take the boat in if I can avoid it. I figure the more I learn about the boat the better for me it is. I am thinking there may be some shifter cable adjustment some place that may need to be tightned up?
